Vase of the Sea A5 Print - Summer Moon Studio

Inspired by the mesmerising myth and legend surrounding the Cornish waters and the shell treasures that nestle in the sandy coves.

The magical story of the mermaid of zennor inspired this vase decoration and precious shells and seaweeds collected in nearby coves inspired the delicate shell flowers and leaves that bloom from the vase. 

All prints come with a lovely border around the artwork.

All prints are small batch production. Printed on beautiful textured 250gsm 20% recycled paper in the UK.

All pieces are hand signed.

Alice is a designer, maker and creative living in Cornwall. After studying Printed Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University, she spent 12 years working with lifestyle brands as a print designer, helping to shape their colour palettes, moods and collections.

Creativity and nature are at the heart of Alice’s work. Deeply rooted in the wild Cornish landscape, she draws inspiration from nature’s cycles, energies, seasons, flora and fauna. Her work explores our connection to the natural world, capturing the glimmers, wonders and precious moments that might otherwise be missed or forgotten.

At Summer Moon Studio, creativity and sustainability are central to every design. Recycled and responsibly sourced materials are used wherever possible, while small-batch production helps to reduce waste and celebrate the beauty and joy of every piece.
