It all began with a few innocent experiments in the kitchen. Having discovered the potential breadth of the raw food diet, Linus, our founder, decided to explore just what was possible with raw cacao. Inevitably there were a number of disasters before Linus found the path to true cacao wisdom, but with time, patience, and perseverance he slowly mastered the art. At which point he felt it was time to share his scrumptious creations with friends and family. And The Raw Chocolate Company was born!
We grind our ingredients for a very, very long time, to make super velvety smooth chocolate that feels luxurious in your mouth, whilst at the same time keeping temperatures low to preserve all the nutritional goodness. All our products are free-from refined sugar, gluten, palm oil, dairy, soya. We add natural sweetness with healthy alternatives to refined sugar, such as organic coconut blossom sugar or Peruvian lucuma fruit powder. The result is pure, natural organic chocolate that hits the sweet spot.
Without compromise, we want our products to have a positive impact on the environment and the lives of those involved in producing the fabulous ingredients we use. We've eliminated almost all environmental impacts from our production process, and our factory is powered by clean, renewable energy. In the long term we are pursuing zero emission transport of our ingredients and end products.
