Living In Rhythm cards (Set of 4) - LADY apothecary
The ‘living in rhythm’ cards are a set of 4 cards for each season. The seasons within us, for people who bleed every month.
We start the Season with Winter on Day 1 of our cycle, the day of our menstrual bleed. For some women/people who bleed, this coincides with the New Moon. Others with the Full Moon.
Women/people who bleed, have lived in rhythm with their bodies for centuries. They knew how beneficial this way.
Winter ~ Day 1-7 of our cycle
Spring ~ Day 7-14 of our cycle
Summer ~ Day 14-21 of our cycle
Autumn ~ Day 21-28 of our cycle
*Each of us have slightly different length seasons in our cycle.
We do not all ovulate on day 14, some day 16 or day 19 and that’s ok.
You may have a 28 day cycle or a 34 day cycle, that’s also ok.
So you may just have a longer ‘spring’ or ‘winter’ phase.
The intension behind these cards is as a guide to help us to become in touch with our bodies…
~ To understand why we feel the way we do at certain times of the month
~ To use it as a guide as when to work more or rest more, when to socialise and when to be quieter
~ To understand why we feel more creative one week and the other week we want to be alone in bed.
~ To understand what our cravings mean
~ What foods to eat when
~ When we need more fuel
~ What exercises might suit at different times of the month…
The set of four cards come with an envelope and make a great gift, for yourself or a loved one.
They can be stuck on your wall as little poster or kept in your bag as little reminders.
By living in rhythm we can be more productive, understand ourselves better, be kinder to ourselves and live more mindfully.
Let’s live in rhythm.
Emma Marigold is a Medical Herbalist BSc and has been studying Health for 10 years. Where West meets East, Emma practices Western Herbal Medicine, a science which originates from Ancient Greece & Ayurvedic Medicine from India.
The project began with a desire to create herbal medicine that is pleasurable & becomes part of an effortless daily routine, rather than feeling like a chore. Values which she learnt when living in India, where her own healing began, adding herbal powders into milk to create delicious tonic drinks. Learning our ancestors' wisdom, knitting that together with today science and integrating that into modern ritual. Thus, LADY apothecary was born.
The product range is continually growing and the aim is always to move away from symptom suppressing and moving towards root cause & preventative health.
