Hot Pink Silk Satin 'Mirasol' Ultra Skinny Silk Scarf with Sunflowers - Alice Acreman Silks
Introducing the raspberry pink 'Mirasol' scarf, in the new long and slender scarf shape.
Measuring a generous 184cm in length, our new longer silk scarf is a beautiful necklace-like accessory creating a delicate drape with a pop of vivid colour. For an elegant finish and splash of raspberry pink colour, just loop it around your neck and allow the ends to fall forward. Or, why not pull through belt loops as a decorative belt to create a unique and creative look?
Adorned with radiant sunflowers, hand painted mushrooms and stunning crystals, the scarf captures the essence of a blooming summer garden and radiates the powers of the natural world. The bold shades of pink, on front and back offer two different patterns. The Marisol scarf features a palette of raspberry pink, golden yellow and dark cherise. Wear with neutral colours or contrast against deep greens or ochre yellow.

I took a leap to start Alice Acreman Silks, after just a few years of working for some of the big fashion brands. Although I loved being able to create pattern and embroideries to be sold and worn all around the world, I quickly became aware of the huge amount of wasted resources and practices within these companies.
I had so many ideas for colours and prints but felt limited by the repetitive trends, the pressure to work at speed and wanted to design in a way that excited me,ccf first printing my unique style of hand drawn artwork onto silk and other luxurious fabrics. It began with large square silk scarves which I uploaded to my Etsy shop and then one by one, I began to sample other pieces and try different construction techniques, initially with very small batches which grew over time.
My unique prints tell stories about the world around us and capture the imagination. As well as the pretty and cute animals, I like to incorporate more unusual ones like snakes, slugs and sphynx cats. I pride myself on being different to other textile brands and having a more daring twist on botanical prints.
I live next to the river in East London and aim to be as in tune with nature as I can be, cycling to and back from my studio each day. Noticing the changes with the seasons and adapting my routine to work with the hours of daylight we receive. Living this way allows me to translate my appreciation for the natural world into my artwork and work in a way which harmonizes with nature.
