Where the Wildlings Roam is an artist-run online gift store created by Portia Graves, selling a variety of illustrated stationery, art, fashion & homewares.
Portia is a proud mum of two beautiful & wild boys who love to go on adventures in their VW Crafter, recently converted by her awesome husband (& woodwork partner!) They are always planning their next big family adventure! With this is mind, most of Portia's designs are inspired by travel, wildlife & nature. She loves illustrating animals, botanicals & architecture. Additionally, Portia loves art therapy & works with children outdoors on a voluntarily basis. She creates affirmation art, supporting the wellbeing of both children & adults.
Portia uses of mix of materials in her art work – charcoal, pen, watercolours, digital. Being an avid user of Adobe Photoshop, she can easily design for specific products. Seamless patterns is one of her favourite designs to create - perfect for fabrics & wallpaper.
Portia loves working on bespoke projects. She has collaborated with various clients such as the Royal Opera House, Freud Museum, Burghley House & the Eden Project.
The store commits to being as eco-concious as possible & every order donates to planting a tree through Ecologi. The paper & wood is FSC certified & even the ink is sustainably sourced. For products not made in the studio, they are sourced locally in or near her town of Stamford, UK.
