Gorgeous handmade bag in a "Tea" colour with a bunch of beautiful embroidered flowers on the front. The bag is made of the sustainable material raffia and is medium in size. It comes with a practical little zipper bag on the inside and the leather handles add just a touch of luxury. The bag is spacious and fits many things... Can be used every day, for picnics, on the beach, as a weekend bag or whatever the day has to offer. Can also be bought in a larger size and in other beautiful colours!

This product is handmade in the amazing natural material, raffia. Raffia fibers come from palm fronds and all rice raffia products come from Madagascar, which is also the place where the history of rice began. Our raffia baskets and raffia houses were some of our very first products. The production takes place in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar and supports more than 300 families on the Red Island.

Because raffia is a natural material and the products are handmade, each product can vary in size and this variation is reflected in the colouring as well. This means no two products are ever quite alike, which we see as part of the charm. If exposed to direct sunlight, the colours will fade over time. The colour of the raffia products might rub off if exposed to liquids.
